Settings Laptop's Power in Windows

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist
of the Hp laptop battery   First post by: www.itsbattery.com

Did you ever get into this situation: you closed the laptop's lid and it's getting into sleep mode. Upon returning, you opened the lid, only to be faced with a blank screen and no response from the mouse or keyboard. For the best setting, you can prolong the life of your wholesale laptop battery, HP Laptop Battery or no matter what brand it is,

It's easy to change the power button's function, which can be programmed to make the laptop sleep, shut down, or hibernate mode. The default lid-closing action for most laptops is to put the system in "sleep" mode. However, for Windows users, it's much more reliable to use "hibernate" mode instead when the laptop comes to waking up. The laptop in sleep or standby mode continues to consume the battery power such as Hp F4098A battery, Hp F4809A battery, Hp F4812A battery, compaq 319411-001 battery, Compaq Presario 2100 battery(compaq 2100 battery), Compaq Presario 2500 battery(compaq 2500 battery), Compaq Presario NX9010 battery, Compaq Presario NX9000 battery, so it is common to return to a "sleeping" laptop to find that it's just plain dead.

Hibernate, on the other hand, saves your machine's current state to a temporary hard-drive file, then shuts down completely (much like "off"). When you start it up again, it loads that file and returns you to where you left off--no booting required. You may also avoid any of the issues that can arise when Windows suddenly loses power. Find the following tips and know about how to set the power function and prolong your duration time.

  • Click Start, type power, and then click Power Options.
  • In the lefthand sidebar, click Choose what the power buttons do.
  • You should see two pull-down menus alongside when pressing the power button. One is for when the laptop's running on Dell JKVC5 battery power, the other for when it's plugged in ac adapter or laptop charger. Choose the setting "hibernate" for each scenariorunning on battery power.
  • Click Save changes and you're done.

As you may have noticed, this screen also lets you change the functions for the sleep button (if your laptop has one) and for what happens when you close the laptop's lid. So you can kill a couple button-birds with this particular settings stone.
