For some users this may be the ideal product. In this article we will present one of the newest HP Touchscreen laptop, the TouchSmart tx2z.

HP’s TouchScreen tx2z laptop isn’t the first laptops to offer multi-touch functionality, but it is among the most popular because of the valuable features it combines and the reasonable starting price of $1,149. The tx2z is dark blue with a matching keyboard, deck, and palm rest. As for the touchpad it has a thin strip on the right side that can be useful when scrolling through windows. Regarding the graphics, the TX2 uses an ATI Radeon HD 3200, an integrated chipset that should be limited to 3D applications. And given that the hardware is the same as our tx2000z, the 56WH battery should last between 3.5 to 4 hours of battery life.

Other features include: an AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor ZM-86 (2.4 GHz), # 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm), ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics with 64MB Display Cache Memory, 400GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth and also 5-in-1 digital media reader.

It is a laptop targeting students and people interested in buying the latest gadget with the new technology. With this product HP has opened the road to outside developers, and it won't be long before a software update can enable new multi-touch gestures.

EASY LAPTOPS

If you are asking yourself “What laptops should I buy?” you should read the information below and decide afterwards what laptop you should purchase.

TABLET- Comparable in size and weight with ultra portable laptops, tablets offer the unique possibility of hand writing and surfing through menus, documents and web pages directly from the display, by using a special pen, called stylus. The most common type of tablets is the convertible one which looks like a normal laptop, but which has a display that rotates 180 degrees and then applies over the key board. Another type of tablet is the small tablet. The small tablets usually lack the key board and the only way to introduce a text or to surf the web is through the display.

ULTRA PORTABLE - The smallest and the lighter laptops, ultra portables have a compact shape and are usually destined for people who travel a lot and who always need their laptops with them. But be careful, because the smaller they are, the less performances they have. These laptops have small key boards, small displays and very few ports and connectors. The small dimensions are also to be translated in “high prices”.

EASY LAPTOPS - An easy laptop offers the optimum combination between portability, performance, equipment and price. Having unique processors, which are more and more powerful, ergonomic key boards and displays that are more friendly than the ultra potables and the tablets, easy laptops also have an optic unit and allow you to work easier and faster. Even if they are more expensive than the mainstreams, easy laptops offer maximum performance in a mobile gadget.

MEDIUM LAPTOPS (MAINSTREAM) - Medium laptops or mainstream laptops are the only ones who are not created to suit a certain need. For example, ultra portable laptops offer portability, desktop replacers offer performance like no other laptop, but mainstream laptops do not offer all that. This is why mainstream laptops are the cheapest laptops, but this does not mean you cannot find expensive mainstream laptops in stores. Mainstream laptops offer everything you need like text processing, photo editing, CD and DVD writing, Web browsing and online communication. But mainstream laptops are not usually destined to those who travel a lot.

DESKTOP REPLACERS - Desktop replacers are the largest and the heaviest types of laptops such as Hp F1739A, Omnibook XE, Hp F2024B, Hp F2024A, HP XH260, Pavilion N5200, Omnibook XE3, Hp 346970-001, Hp HSTNN-DB02, Hp HSTNN-UB02, Hp DP390A and Compaq PP2100, . As their name shows, desktop replacers are conceived for power and performance the way a desktop does it (by that, I mean the PC we are all familiar with). Too heavy and too big for nothing more than being transported from one room to another, the desktop replacers offer the largest screens and key boards, as well as the best connections and equipment. Desktop replacers can be used for video editing, 3D graphics, multimedia and games in optimum conditions.

If you are a fan of HP laptop computers, like I am, I recommend you to visit the shopping.hp.com site and surf it. I am sure you will find something to suit your needs. I always used HP laptop computers and my latest purchase is HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition, quad core performance, 1 GB discrete graphics, wide screen (17.3” inches), with 16:9 aspect ratio power packed solution and lots of fun! It also includes the latest Intel Core i7 processors.

Handling, Ergonomics. From the first grip, we feel that HP wanted to create a product esthetics finishes impeccable. This is the case. Nothing creaks or exceeds all and inspires confidence. The keyboard is large, and the keys are comfortable for entering text. It is very far from the models 7 and 9 inches in typing comfort. Between the keyboard and touchpad, you can note the presence of a button which serves to disable the pavement. Very useful for text input as this feature prevents unintentional movement of the mouse.

The touch pad is elongated. The clicks buttons are positioned on the sides to gain depth. The surface of this element is dull and the first downside of this section: unfortunately the slides is not optimal. The finger grip a little, and we've seen better elsewhere. The height of the pad is measured at 3.5 cm. It picked up a bit and smaller than the 1002HA, for example. Regarding the food: easily plug out of its location, just turn it on herself.

Be careful to check out its position if you want to reload your machine. A point to raise on the noise emitted by the machine. When it is heavily used, its internal fan snaps. This creates a little noise: not very high yet very present. The webcam image is frankly disappointing. Indoors, with average brightness, the image reproduced is very dark. We can hardly recognize not features of the person. To counter this effect, push the brightness up to an average score in the end. As for the microphone, we were unable to make it work.

On the slices of the device include: two USB (that bit), 1 RJ45 (behind a plastic cover), a socket extension, a mini-jack and a memory card reader. What about the video output? There is not, at least not directly. HP indicates the possibility of buying a cable to plug into the The speaker is located above the keyboard. It is present in the form of a large metal bar. The sound it produces is very average. There is just enough to watch a flm, alone with his machine. We recommend you use headphones to fully enjoy particularly low. On the netbook, the only element that you have access, apart from the battery, is the barrette RAM (brand Ramaxel) 1 GB Calculations. The components of mini-notebooks such as Hp 367759-001 battery, Hp PM579A battery, Hp Pavilion DV4000 battery(Hp dv4000 battery), Hp Pavilion ZE2000 battery(Hp ze2000 battery), compaq Presario M2000 battery(compaq m2000 battery), Compaq Presario V2000 battery(compaq v2000 battery), Hp pavillion zx5000 battery(Hp zx5000 battery) and Hp PP2200 battery can be counted on the fingers of the hand. The most common combination for the 10-inch Intel Atom NV270 + Intel GMA 950 and hard disk. This model does not cut tradition. The only two items on which they can differentiate themselves, are the RAM and hard drive. Here, in this case, the second is not very satisafaisant for two reasons. Its capacity is only 60GB (where other phones amounted to 160 GB), and its maximum transfer rate is 30 GB disc in early (against 70 MB for the most efficient). The boot time (boot time) is also a little behind with 1 minute 5 seconds (cons 30 seconds for the fastest).

The CPU, it will be recalled, allows all the operations of conventional laptops. But compared to a current model mid / high range, it takes two to three times longer for the same tasks of file compression, or retouching of images for example. In video, the only restrictions are very heavy on the HD, the computer then shows its limits.expansion port to a VGA output.
