The 15 Sexiest Movies on Netflix for When Porn Is Too Much Effort

image
EVERETT
You know how sometimes the effort of opening up an incognito window and searching for porn that doesn't make you cringe is just too much? But you also are kind of in the ~mood for romance~ so life's just really hard? That's where Netflix's steamy romance category comes in—a delightful land of mostly unrated films that feature a lot of love and also a lot of sexiness/sex without being gratuitous. Here's what is currently on offer from your favorite streaming behemoth:

Y Tu Mamá También

Y Tu Mama Tambien is a really good movie (with really good sex scenes) about two friends who fall for the same woman on a road trip. Plus, it marks the moment when the world collectively fell in love with Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.

Sex and Lucia

As you can probably tell from the title, this movie features a lot of sex (and also nudity, passion, and romance)—as well as a deeply interesting plot about a man and woman's relationship through the years. The film was critically acclaimed and put Paz Vega in the Hollywood spotlight for her standout performance.

Nymphomaniac

What would this list be without Nymphomaniac, Lars von Trier's famous film about a woman who recounts her life-long obsession with sex? Let's just say no detail is, um...spared.

A Promise

Okay, so don't @ me—and I know this movie is more of a romantic period piece than sex romp—BUT, it's full of tension, has at least one good sex scene, and stars Richard Madden a.k.a. Robb Stark on Game of Thrones.

Atonement

Another admittedly slightly weird choice, but if you've seen this movie and don't think the first half—featuring extremely hot library love making—is the sexiest thing ever, you aren't living. Watch again. You won't be disappointed.

Below Her Mouth

This TV-MA movie is about what you'd expect it to be about based on the title. But if you need things spelled out, it's the story of two women who fall for each other and have a ton of hot sex.

Amar

Another one of Netflix's good ol' TV-MA options, this film is about a couple who are experiencing the idealized thrill of first love. It's sexy and has some sweet moments.

Fragments of Love

To be clear, this is not a good movie, plot- or acting-wise. But it's amusing, and about a woman who's trying to make a man forget his grief through sex, so here we are. ::shrugs shoulders::

Blue Is the Warmest Color

The movie, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013, follows Adèle's journey to sexual freedom when she meets Emma, a blue-haired painter—and it's rated NC-17.

Newness

This movie is both very sexy and very modern. The film, starring Nicholas Hoult and Laia Costa, follows a couple who meet on a hookup app. When both end up cheating, they decide to embrace their struggles with monogamy and embark on an open relationship. Sexiness (and group sex) ensues.

A Perfect Ending

Just your classic sexually repressed housewife decides to explore her sexuality with a high-priced call girl lust story.

Immoral Tales

This 1974 French anthology film presents four separate stories exploring the darkest, most taboo sides of love and lust.

Love

Argentine director Gaspar Noé's Love follows a man in an unhappy marriage who starts thinking about his former lover when he hears that she may have gone missing. Drama. Intrigue. Steamy steamy sex.

Sex Doll

No, it's not about a literal, Lars and the Real Girl style sex doll relationship. Sex Dollis a French movie about about a high-end call girl who falls for a man she meets in a nightclub. Their relationship is put in jeopardy, however, by a secret he's keeping.

Duck Butter

Two young women spend a sexy and intense 24 hours together when they decide to get to know each other by having sex every hour, on the hour.

Kylie Jenner's Sheer T-Shirt Dress Is Just $35 and Still Available

INSTAGRAM USER KYLIEJENNER
So, how is Kylie Jenner doing post-Jordyn Woods betrayal/scandal? It seems the youngest self-made billionaire ever is just fine. The star has been spending a lot of time with her young daughter and is surrounding herself with her sisters. After sharing a few Instagrams of Stormi being adorably cute, as ever, Kylie shared some #OOTDs.
One of them is a ribbed, long-sleeve t-shirt dress, which she wore with a neon green (yellow?) lacy bra and underwear set. The 21-year-old wore a neon green jacket draped on one arm and held onto a black handbag in the other, all while looking away from the camera.
If you know anything about Kylie's style, she often wears see-through or body-hugging outfits. In the past, her ensembles have usually been affordable too and this dress was no different. It's only $35 and quickly selling out.
Though we're not sure where she wore this lewk to (the Kardashians did throw a St.Patrick's Day/birthday celebration for Rob over the weekend), we do know what beau Travis Scott thinks of it. The musician left a heart eyes emoji comment right after she posted the photo.
In the past few weeks, the couple has struggled with cheating rumors and Scott's intensive tour schedule, which takes him away from Kylie and Stormi. The rapper even briefly deleted his Instagram account to prove he did not cheat on Kylie while on tour. "Travis keeps telling Kylie that she can trust him," said a source to People. "He has been doing everything he can right now to regain her trust. He will soon be off for a few weeks and keeps saying he can’t wait to spend time with Kylie and Stormi."
Judging by Scott's Insta comment and Kylie's post, things seem to be okay...for now.

Is It Still "Good Sex" if You Don't Have an Orgasm?

Asking him what he needs from you proves you’re open to changing things up. Also, if you’re talking dirty for the first time with your guy, this phrase is a good way to ease into conversation and gauge how naughty he’s ready to get. My friends, family, and co-workers say I should be more goal-oriented. It is true: I'm a bundle of unorganized energy without much direction.
Actually, my goals are both vague and simple. I live life to fall in love, have fun, and laugh. However, I can't translate these lighthearted goals to sex.
For me, sex is not fun for many reasons. One reason is I pressure myself to bring a woman to orgasm. If I don't bring a woman to orgasm, I feel like I've failed her...especially if we are in a serious relationship and I continuously fail to bring her to orgasm. Striking out on a one-night stand is one thing, but when I'm consistently failing the same girl I care about, it's a major disappointment.
There are a few beliefs about orgasms that make it a pressure cooker:

An Orgasm Is Necessary for Good Sex
Anything less might be fun, but still a failure. How is it fair that a guy gets to have orgasms all the time so easily while women don't have them as often? In my world I'm constantly trying to achieve balance so both parties should be complete after sex.

I Don't Even Know When She Has One
It's so unfair that women can fake their orgasms for clueless, unsuspecting fools like me. I can't tell the difference between a great actress and a girl in the throes of an awesome orgasm. So, I could be failing the entire time I

think I'm succeeding or (better yet) I could be succeeding even though I don't even know it.

I Bet Other Guys Gave Her One
Once I'm consistently failing to deliver orgasms for my girlfriend, I assume her exes were dashing orgasm wizards, capable of conjuring these orgasms out of nothing. So, that just makes me inadequate in the end, and she probably thinks of her orgasm-capable boyfriend while I'm bumbling around in bed with her.

I Must Time Mine with Hers
Most guys screw up by achieving orgasm too early.

This deflates a sexual encounter like a party crasher. I'm great at procrastinating important things like work, but I can't procrastinate my orgasm for the life of me. The pressure builds while I try to hold onto my orgasm, waiting for hers to happen — and of course I'm never really sure if/when she's actually had one.
I was speaking to a female friend who told me that she thinks sex is bad for a guy if he doesn't have an orgasm. From a guy's point of view (and I'm afraid that I'm not a normal guy), I feel so lucky to be doing anything remotely sexual with a girl, an orgasm is the last thing on my mind. Plus, I can honestly just give myself an orgasm in five minutes if I really need one. While it might be impersonal, it still gets the job done in a pinch (or a squeeze?).
I don't expect a woman to give me an orgasm during sexual activity; I've only achieved orgasm twice in all of the times I've had sex. Basically, we just go for a while until we tire. I guess that's not great sex, but I'm never disappointed with a woman because I can't have an orgasm.
I'm disappointed with myself for not being able to give her an orgasm. I'm happy with a great kisser, nice moments, and an overall feeling of intimacy. I've given myself orgasms much more often than I've actually connected spiritually and mentally with a woman.
So back to you. Is "good sex" all about the orgasm? Or is it more holistic, based on a bunch of factors? What if everything else goes great, but you don't end up having an orgasm? Is it just a disappointment, or is it bad sex?
